A real piece of Australian/ Melbourne music history. 
This vintage 1950s 6 string Lap Steel guitar is in great condition and appears to be all origina, with the exception of the upgraded hard wired connector cable. Original case and is in great shape and comes with the tone bar. 

Maxim products were hand made in Peter McCarthy’s workshop on Bridge Rd in Richmond. From the late 40s to the early 70s. Maxim most notably produced lap steel guitars and small valve amplifiers.
