Colin Leadbetter

Colin started at Nepean Music in 1997. An intuitive multi-instrumentalist, he spent 13 years working on the shop floor before departing to build a career as a Record Producer & Recording/Mix Engineer, primarily working out of the amazing Sing Sing Recording studios. Colin has worked alongside an incredible list of artists including: Katie Noonan, Whitley, Sarah Blasko, Renee Geyer, Sweet Whirl, Leah Senior, Mission Songs Project, Archie Roach, Paul Kelly, Girlatones & Darren Hanlon to name but a few.

Colin and his wife Esther returned to the Mornington Peninsula in 2020 and took over operations at Nepean Music.

FLOOR & WORKSHOP MANAGER

JOEL WHEELER

Joel is a working musician and he's in it for life, because he loves it. He may have spent years working in the trades, but his true passion is and always has been music (more precisely, guitar). His knowledge of all things musical is an incredible asset to our store, and if you have a guitar question, you can be sure Joel has the answer. He is never standing still and is always preparing for the next gig. You can catch him with his hard working band "Bosley" at a venue near you. You can find out more about them here:
