Manufactured from 1966 but first appeared in the Rose Morris catalogue in 1967. The Goldentone Bassmaster 20 Amplifier with a single Rola Plessy 12PEG Speaker.

2 inputs (Bass and Rythym Guitar) with treble and bass controls. 20watts of output power from the 6DQ6A valves and a 12AX7 driven tube preamp. Original Australian Made Miniwatt valves still onboard!

Originally a blonde tolex finish, this one has been painted? black (a long time ago!) and is in great cosmetic shape. Original TV legs included. Replacement handle.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS OF THE RESTORATION/SERVICE

A vintage classic, hand-wired, all-valve amp, made in Australia.

The valve complement consists of:

• 2 x Miniwatt 12AX7

• 2 x RCA 6DQ6A output valves

The original A&R output transformer (model 2680 had one side burnt out (not repairable) and the choke also has failed. Replacements sourced from Goldentone Australia have been installed. An original A&R type 2700 output transformer and a Rola TV301 choke.

Power supply filter capacitor have been replaced.
Mains power switch cleaned and lubricated
New indictor lamp
Pots, switches and valve sockets cleaned.
Chassis retainer bolts replaced to secure the chassis safely o the cabinet.
