Ibanez | 2618-AV | Artist Series | 1978 | Antique Violin | (#4 of 4) | Vintage

It’s not everyday we see a guitar from 1978 in this condition. Well, this is one of 4 the same that have come to us from an remarkable private collection. 

This all original Ibanez Artist 2618 solid body electric guitar was made by Ibanez in the FujiGen factory, Japan in 1978.

Featuring a Solid carved maple top, gold hardware,  ebony fretboard, 'Flying Finger' pickups, and original Ibanez hard shell case.

Condition is excellent for a 45 year old instrument. Gold hardware showing some wear and mild pitting. The antique violin finish is very clean and shows only wear consistent with playing. The binding shrinkage that is somewhat common on Japanese guitars of this era is present but has been well maintained and managed by the original owner.
