This is a 1988-1989 Fender Japan Lyte Precision Bass. 

These were (and still are) a super cool, lightweight alternative to the Precision Bass, with a smaller unique body design and a P/J Pickup Configuration. 

This one’s in a Beautiful Violin Burst that’s seen some action, and it has some wear and tear accordingly.
