The 2025 Custom Shop models from Leadbetter Guitar Co have arrived! 

The Starfu#%er: #CS252

BODY

Based on our “Dano Style” birch ply and Masonite body with a one kind Voyager Sparkle Relic gloss finish. 

NECK

This custom QLD Maple neck has a comfortable thin C profile and a Rosewood fretboard. Truss rod adjustment at heel. Brass neck inserts with Stainless steel neck bolts form a strong resonant connection between the neck and body. 

ELECTRONICS 

The engine driving the Starf#%er is a set of USA Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbuckers. Relic’d chrome pickup surrounds add to the “NASA in the 70s” aesthetic. A single volume control and a 3 way toggle switch are mounted to a custom bound aluminium control plate featuring Voyager II’s gold record imagery. An incredible, heavy duty ANALYSIS PLUS QIJACK Jack Socket is a huge upgrade from any traditional jack socket. It also looks like a mini rocket engine, which is very cool!

Vintage open gear tuners from Wilkinson

Our Wheeler Tone Anchor II bridge is a key ingredient of all Leadbetter Guitar Co creations. A 1.6mm Stainless Steel base plate with a solid brass string block and 3 Tele style compensated brass brings saddles are essential to the resonance and tone of this instrument
